It might have been a little while since our last brass neck news update, but we’re fairly certain you’ll forgive the radio silence once you hear what’s been brewing.

Today, we are proud to announce that brass neck has signed a strategic partnership with KMA Marketing, the common-sense marketing consultancy.

Much like brass neck, KMA Marketing - headed up by Killian McAleese - hit the ground running in 2024. Together, Kirsten and Killian bring nearly four decades of collective marketing and comms experience to the table. It’s a partnership built on the perfect blend of audacity and common sense.

First out of the gates... The partnership is already in full swing. We have welcomed our first joint client, Droplet NeverTrust™, the secure vault company. We are currently providing them with integrated marketing and PR support to help them protect the world’s most sensitive data.

What this means for you: Working alongside KMA Marketing, we now support organisations across the full content, marketing, and PR spectrum. This includes:

  • Owned and earned media content creation.

  • High-impact placement and media relations.

  • Strategic thought leadership campaigns.

  • Full-funnel marketing strategy.

From the founders: Kirsten Paul, co-founder and Director of Communications at brass neck, said: “In our first two years, we’ve delivered campaigns for some of Scotland’s brightest tech scale-ups. This partnership with KMA is pivotal for our next phase of growth. Working with Killian has been a pleasure, and this move reinforces our impact in the market while significantly extending what we can offer the tech ecosystem.”

Killian McAleese, founder of KMA Marketing, added: “The landscape has changed dramatically with new tech and hybrid ways of working, but 2026 is seeing a renewed focus on people and craft. Kirsten brings the experience and judgement needed for clients to thrive, and this partnership expands our reach and capability significantly.”
