The challenge
As the Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland prepared to evolve its brand positioning, it needed a messaging framework the whole team could stand behind, with aligned vision and values.
As the Centre works with a plethora of partner groups, membership organisations and stakeholders, it wasn’t worried about its messaging not resonating, rather that it could be at risk of being fragmented: everyone saying something slightly different at the exact moment they needed to speak as one.
"She delivers what she promises, on time, on budget, and exceeds expectations." Jude McCorry, CEO, Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland
The approach
Workshop. brass neck ran a bespoke messaging session with the Centre’s core team to explore its vision and mission through a review of its current phrasing, data points and keywords.
Framework. Turned the session into a messaging report and framework, creating a single reference point for everything the Centre would say.
Activation. Framework signed off and shapes what the Centre still focuses on two years down the line, with the team having a single voice.
The result
The Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland now has a robust messaging framework that the whole team had a part in building, which reflected their united voice. Including clear statements of mission, vision and values.
What could have taken months of back-and-forth across multiple conversations was resolved in one collaborative session and a single working document.
What the client said
